Tuesday, April 21, 2020 @7:00 PM — May 4 Music & Poetry Event at Kent State — KSU music students will play new music inspired by poems about peace and transformation, selected by Naomi Shihab Nye as winners of the Wick Poetry Center’s contest. I will read my winning poem “Legacy” at this event, which will be held in the Ludwig Recital Hall in the Center for the Performing Arts. (NOTE: as a follow-up, the next day Naomi Shihab Nye will do a reading co-sponsored by Kent State University Libraries from 7-9 p.m. in the Kiva Auditorium).
